The Indiana Pacers have not been shy to pick up the phones this NBA offseason. Indiana has been busy, trading Chris Duarte and acquiring Obi Toppin being two of them.
Obi might be a better 3 point shooter then you think. He shot 34% this past year on extremely high volume in limited mins. He also had a massive slump that started right before the trade deadline. I wouldn’t be shocked if they were related (he was said to be upset he didn’t get dealt).
I’m sure emotion factors into play for sure. I hope he can be a steady contributor from behind the arc because this team will welcome it no doubt. I think the ceiling is high with him here!
